Catering for a group with different food preferences
Get everyone’s food choices before you build the order.
Ninja City
A preference and a dietary request need different answers
“I’d like tofu” is a protein choice. “I can’t eat egg” is a question about the whole dish. Keep those requests separate when you collect the order, and contact us about allergies or ingredients before placing it.
For individual meals, make a short list with each person’s name, meal, protein and any request. It’s easier to check a specific order than a general note that the group has different diets.
Look beyond the main protein
The Fried Rice meal includes egg. The Steam Bun meal includes aioli, and the ordering menu has a Tofu + Vegan Chili Aioli choice. Choose the listed option that fits what you want, then ask about anything else you need changed.
The Greatest Hits package has a choice of pork spring rolls or chicken or vegetable gyoza. Check that choice along with the proteins, sauces and sides.
Individual meals or a shared bar?
Individual meals let people choose separately. A Ninja Bar gives the group two bases, two proteins and four toppings to mix at the table.
Separate components on a shared bar don’t tell you how an individual meal was prepared. If someone needs a separate meal, discuss that request with us and include it explicitly in the order.
Count everyone once
If eight people are eating from the shared spread and two have separate meals, you’re planning ten meals. Keep the names with those two orders so they reach the right people.
