Banh mi: bread, fillings and pickles
Pork, pâté and pickles on a baguette. Here’s what goes into ours.

Banh mi and steam buns in a Ninja City spread.
A Vietnamese sandwich
Banh mi is a Vietnamese sandwich on baguette-style bread. Fillings vary widely: pork and pâté, eggs, fish and plenty more.
Ours combines braised pork, ham and pâté with cucumber, pickled vegetables, cilantro and miso-garlic aioli on a French baguette. We offer full and half sandwiches at lunch.
Why the pickles matter
The pork, pâté and aioli make a rich filling. Pickled vegetables add tartness and crunch, cucumber adds a fresh bite, and cilantro brings its own aroma.
You’ll find pickled carrot and daikon in our Steam Buns too, with jalapeño, cilantro and fried shallot. The soft bun changes the texture of the sandwich even when some of the toppings are familiar.
Banh Mi or Seoul-Ja Boy?
Both come on a French baguette with miso-garlic aioli. Choose the Banh Mi for braised pork, ham and pâté. Choose the Seoul-Ja Boy for crispy Korean fried chicken, pickled red onion and daikon, jalapeño and cilantro.
The Banh Mi is also available with garlic chicken or tofu. Ask about the full sandwich if you need an ingredient changed; swapping the main protein doesn’t tell you what happens to every spread or topping.
