The Minh Anh connection
Our Cleveland Pho comes from the Minh Anh family recipe, first served in Cleveland in 1984.

Cleveland Pho, served today at Ninja City.
From Minh Anh to Ninja City
Minh Anh opened at 5428 Detroit Avenue in 1984, one of Cleveland’s first Vietnamese restaurants. It served pho there for decades, until the restaurant closed in 2021.
We serve pho made from that family recipe here at Ninja City: ginger beef broth, rice noodles, brisket and rare eye of round, with herbs, lime and sauces on the side.
Farther west on Detroit Avenue
Ninja City opened in University Circle in 2014 and moved to Gordon Square in 2018. We’re at 6706 Detroit Avenue, farther west on the same street where Minh Anh got its start.
Cleveland Pho sits alongside our tonkotsu ramen, steam buns, rice bowls and spicy mac. Come by for lunch or dinner.
